HELP ! GPL crash in Win98

Hi,

I've just bought a Dell 450Mhz with 256MB RAM and a 16MB TNT card.
Everything is great, except that whenever I play GPL it randomly crashes ! I
haven't yet tried the OpenGL patch, maybe it will help ?

Is there someone who has/had the same problem, and knows about how to fix
this ?
