Just got the thing and its pretty nice but I can't steer well with it.
It has a 'notchy' feel to it when making minute turning movements - like
exactly what one does in N4 large ovals.

Do I have a defective unit or is this normal?

if you decide to do it do the lube...
BTW, I did the 180 mod, the "longer" pedals mod, works GREAT
