rec.autos.simulators

I have got a question regarding Nascar:
From didnt.doit.wis.edu I got the '94 and '95 car textures,
and if I load the car sets they show up nicely viewing the drivers.
BUT: if I try to change my car setup in the garage (training or race)
I get an error message like "cannot load garage".

Did anyone alse encounter this problem? What was the solution?

I want to add this: it might be in the US manual but the European one
I've got is only 20 pages and doesn't even mention al the keys that
can be used. One bad point of an otherwise good game IMHO.

Your subdirectory name MUST match the carsX.dat file name.  For example,
if you put c:\nascar\cars\cars95  THEN your dat file MUST be named
cars95.dat   Both sub-directory and dat file MUST have identical names.
