every time I leave a race I recieve the messge "unable to create
settings file". why is this? Also, when tring to run paintkit, the
screen simply goes blank and then back out to a prompt. I have tried
installing the game 2 different times from the CD with the same
results. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance!

Regarding the paintkit problem... just a thought, but do you have your
mouse driver loaded?
