GPL steering problem

I have a strange(?) problem with GPL. My car tends to turn little bit to the
right. You can notice this especially on straights. First I thought that my
steering wheel was falling apart and I tried with Gravis Analog Pro joystick
and with the keyboard but the same problem remains.
I didn't have this problem few days ago but now I can't seem to get rid of
it! I've tried re-installing the
game, calibrating the wheel many times but nothing seems to help.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Are u using asymetrical car setups?  A few of the default setups are
asymetrical.  Try setting a car up perfectly symetrical in setup and see
what happens

  Hi,

That happen to me when :    - my tires are cold
                                            - i touch edge of track ( wall, etc
) and steering become wrong ( u can se the steering wheel
on screen not on center when you're
real wheel is centered ).
                                            - when i make setup of my car not
symetric.

I have this very same problem, and have been trying to solve it for almost A
YEAR.  I have no idea what causes it, and I have tried everything (multiple
joysticks, wheels, gamecards, games, calibrations) save a Windows reinstall.
I really do not need to reinstall Windows....  So I went to Wal-Mart and
purchased an InterAct UltraRacer PC (has a steering trim control), and I've
been drving straight since then.

Yes, that worked! Very big thanks. Strange that I haven't noticed this
before. I made a good setup for Monza few days ago. When I tried it, the car
didn't turn right or I didn't notice it. Which settings could affect to
this?
Wheel rate, cambers, anything else? Well, now I can continue my season. :)

GPL steering problem

I had a strange occurence tonight.  I set my machine up as a server, and
run 1 hr practice sessions, that way I can at least practice with
traffic and get an idea how fast (or slow) I am going by guaging myself
by the AI cars.
Anyways, I noticed after a restart, of GPL I setup a server and went out
on the track.  I'd got past maybe the 1st turn, and I noticed my car was
pullin alot to the right.  This wasn't damage as I suk and was set on
novice.  It was obviously not my setup, so I rebooted.  And the pull to
the right was gone.  I use a MS sidewinder prec pro for a controller,
and all i can hink that happened was either a calibration prob or a
controller problem.  I didn't recal the stick in w95 or GPL tho.  This
happens occasionally now, I noticed.

Come on Xmas! I want my new Stick! (or wheel +)

If it's happening under acceleration, it may simply be wheel slip . . .
