Just a heads up, I won't be able to make it, have an autocross all day
tomorrow. Hopefully I'll do better in that then I do in these races online.

I see the room listed, but the ping is zero (0), and I am unable to
connect to the game to start practice.

Oddly, most of the rooms have an empty ping value. On;y three of the
rooms have a positive value, and I can connect to the one I tested.

F1rst seems to think it is up to date, so I don't know what could be
the problem. Kinda looking forward to Imola too. I'm not often
available on Sundays anymore.

Sorry you couldn't get in.  You may have tried right after it switched to qual.
 We run closed qual so that entering drivers don't***up the people on
track.

This was a total waste of time from my view.  The only drivers that showed were
me, Ped Xing and David.  Those two were lapping in the 1:23's, and the best I
could do was 1:38.  So I left during qual.  I just checked the server to find
that they left as well.  I don't see why, you two could have raced each other.
The fact that I left shouldn't have mattered.  It's not like I was going to be
close to you anyway.
Oh well.  Maybe next time.

It definitely wasn't that, Eldred. I was on F1rst from about 11:50
on, and I "joined" the race literally seconds after it showed up on
the list of F1C rooms. I even shut down F1rst and restarted it three
times. (You've got to admit I am persistent!)

No joy on any of the attempts. I gave up at about 12:20 when I
figured you guys might well be on to qualifying and I wouldn't be
able to get in anymore.

Too bad there wasn't a race. Well, I tried.

I've never had a problem like this before. I wonder if anyone else
tried to connect and couldn't?

Oh, then I don't know.  I have it set to allow 22 cars, and I didn't see any
errors while on the server.  Sorry I can't be of any help...

How long did you wait after clicking connect?  After I clicked connect, it
sat there for a good long minute before it actually started loading.  I
have seen this problem you describe before, though.  I don't know what
causes it.

Well, 2 runners isn't even a proper podium. ;-)  Besides, it looked like
we'd have had to wait over 40 minutes for it to cycle to the next session.
