GP500 sound setting with SB Live?

Hi,

I'm not sure what setting to select for 3D sound with a Sound Blaster Live!
Value. GP 500 has settings for software (no), hardware (?), EAX (?), and A3D
(?). I've been running hardware, but maybe one of the others is better?
Maybe it doesn't matter with these whiny two strokes?!

You have a SBLive and you don't know that it uses EAX?!?

Sorry to insult your expected level of techno competence to own a SB Live!,
but mine didn't have a test with it. It also does not say anything about EAX
in the manual, although I suppose it means Environmental Audio something,
which they do mention.
