I've noticed that the computer drivers have different values for min/max
drag, aggression, etc. Should mine change because we're now racing with
Ford Taurus's? Were the 98 Fords for N2 set with this in mind?

The 1998 Ford Taurus carset you find on the Internet is just eye-candy, as
it doesn't affect at all your Nascar Racing performance on the track.
The difference between choosing a Ford/Chevy/Pontiac is very minimal, and
it's more a personal choice. To change it you should hack the Nascar2.exe
file, and would be considered as a sort of hacking. The difference in
general between those types of car is that the Ford is a little more loose,
the Chevy Tight and Pontiac is between those 2. In the Nascar2 manual you
will find the real answer to this
The only way you can change the AI skill is by editing the track.txt files
(BLAPS, etc..) or adjusting their Min/Max performance.
Download the IWCCCARS carset at http://www.theuspits.com/iwcccars The
min/max settings are adjusted in the carset very good. And if they continue
like last year, they will update the AI skill each race weekend (I hope).
