seem to work for me,when I enable it in my game control, the pedals won't
work anymore in the game.

Worked with no problems on my FF.

However, make sure you're pressing and holding down each pedal before
selecting the axis you want to choose. Maybe that's what is wrong.

Cheers,
Rod.

And don't get too frustrated if it doesn't work the first time.  Keep
fiddling with it, and sooner or later you'll get it to work.  And it does
make a huge difference in the game.

cheers,
David

Evertime I start up the game the pedals have to be reselected because
they are f***%$d in the game otherwise.

Same goes here.  I have to use also the TM3 control panel.  But still, that
little program is pretty seamless: you hardly notice it's there.
Nevertheless, inside of F1RC, I always have to retap the pedals to configure
them for dual axes.

No other racing game makes me do that, though I need TM3 (Pro Digital 2
Wheel) for all of them, to get dual axes to function.

Guys,

The problem is that F1RC expects all of your control axis to be
self-centering axis, and looks for this upon startup.  For instance, if the
pot values of all of your controls range from 0 to 1000, F1RC wants them all
to be at around 500 when you start the game.  Split axis brake and pedal
don't self center - both axis would have a pot value of 0.  The workaround
is to hold both pedals halfway down when you start the game, until after you
click the '1 player' button, then you can release them.  The game should
work fine then.  If you forget to hold them down, and you get into the car
and they are all messed up, don't re-calibrate - immediately exit the game,
hold them halfway, and re-start.

Bizzare, I know, but it works for me!

How very odd, for I only had to set them once (with my LWFF), and the deed
was done.  I don't have to take any special procedures to get the LWFF
recognized.  It works just like any other game.  It was difficult (or,
rather, tedious) to get them recognized the first time, but since then it's
been smooth sailing.

Obviously, Ubisoft needs to address this stuff in the patch.

Thanks!  I had to do that with some game(F12K, probably), but I never knew
*why*...
