Can you not drive a real car during multiplayer?  Say if I want to drive
Jr's car while racing with a friend and he wants to drive like rusty's car.
can you not do that?

Thanks

You should be able to. In the player.ini file, there is a section to enter
the cars you want for online and offline. Just enter the one you want there.

Nope, can't do it by just "using" their car file, matter of fact, N4 doesn't
allow you to use the real cars because of liscensing issues. You can create
a custom new player and copy a "real" cars' paint scheme to it via export in
paint shop section, but then everyone you race with must have that car file
on their puter in order to see you as your new paint scheme.

best o luck,

I beg to differ. I have raced online using the real cars in N4. I even had a
friend that I was racing with, verify what car he saw me driving, and he
indeed verified it without knowing what car I was driving. I was using one
of the regular Winston Cup Cars.

I saw the #3 Chevy last night, as a matter of fact...

It can be done.
