Okay, this is a mini-rant. What the hell do we do about the intentional
wreckers on the Papyrus servers? Last night this*** (first as (LNB) Wolf,
then as WOLF OMO) logged on and ruined 2 great races by intentionally
wrecking, parking on the track, driving the wrong way, etc. To make matter
worse, the dumbasses at Sierra now made is so Bosses cannot eject any
players any more - it now takes an admin.

This is such a GREAT game online when you have clean racers, but just 1 or 2
asses really ruins the entire server and takes away an opportunity for us to
race. To top it all off, their stupid ass rating system doesn't care if you
initiate a wreck or if you just get caught up in it, you STILL get
negatively rated from it. The rating system is SUCH BS it's not funny. I
just started racing N2k2 online and I'm just now to a SS rating of 5 because
of all the asses that are out there and not through any fault of my own.

The thing that really gets me is that when you have clean drivers it is
really GREAT! We had a Daytona race with 20+ people and 4 of us were
battling for first place until the end. It was a really great experience. I
just hope that I get into the league I applied for so that I can race with
good, clean drivers.

Sierra has a forum that used to have the details on how to 'turn in' a
wrecker.  Check there and see if that is still active.  They can ban his cd
key and it won't matter if he comes back as wolf, wolfie, or wolfette.

Rob,

My suggestion is to forget the Open races and get into a League.  Most of the
clean drivers get into a league to avoid these headaches.  That is about all you
can really do.

Good luck though,

I believe Papy has an established procedure for reporting this and getting
drivers banned.  And since the patch, getting banned means it's all over for
them.  You can no longer just change your Sierra name and log back on.  It
actually locks out your serial number.

And I, for one, totally agree with the removal of ejection privilages from
Boss's.  It was being seriously abused, even to the point of Boss's booting
people because they were ahead of them in a race.  It ws out of control.

Why, what did they do?

The 2 leagues I run often have races that have 2 or 3 cautions at 50% and
maybe go green all the way a couple of times a season.

I just had a race ruined at Watkins Glen by this idiot and his ***buddy
Lauren Pleasnme. They worked together and parked sideways on the track next
to each other in the esses. I checked the papy forums and I guess they were
overwhelmed by people complaining about wreckers so they dont do much about
it anymore. I guess I should just stick to the few Rascar races that I can
manage to race and be done with it. The pick up races are just too damn
frustrating most of the time. And don't tell me to join a league. My works
hours do not allow me to make any kind of scheduled races.

What's wrong with Escor(or leagues)?

Well sad to say, it doesn't sound like anything will work for you...  The open
races are a crapshoot, and you can't make league races.  So what's left?

The AI, but I think that's who all the wreckers learn from :(
