F1RS crashes

by Marc Rennhar » Tue, 07 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Hi there!

I've got a 233 MMX (clocked at 3.5 * 75), Righteous 3D, latest drivers
(3.01). No problems at all with any other (also 3dfx) games. The Problem
is that F1RS keeps crashing, usually after 10 minutes or so. The screen
simply freezes. I only tried the time attack mode. Also tried patches
1.07, 1.08, no difference noticed. Clocking at 233 MHz doesn't help
either.

Anybody with similar experiences? - Anybody a solution? - It's a little
frustrating...

Be sure all applications you may have running in the backround are shut off,
especially screensavers.

More info on your system is probably needed. For example:
Are you overclocking your 3dfx card? I would suggest no adding
*ANY* SET commands to your autoexec.bat.
