I will heartily recommend the Nascar Racing 2 sim, by Sierra/Papyrus...
playable online now on the TEN network. If you get this one... look around
for the Busch Grand National Expansion Pack, too.... Lots of new tracks,
Patches, and the BGN carset to boot :)

That is why I said DOWNLOAD THE DEMO so he could judge for himself. I'm
sorry you had a bad time with CART. Some people have had difficulties with
it but most after playing it awhile love the game. If anyone is having
difficulties with the game check out The APEX http://www.quiknet.com/~joja
There is excellent information on there to fix most problems that people
encounter (graphics, steering, etc.) There are also some real good setups on
the site that will make the a blast to drive! If you are having a particular
problem you are more than free to E-Mail me and I will help anyone to the
best of my ability to get the game running well for them.
