n2 problem- help

has anyone had this happen to them,it has happened to me at least 5 x. while in
a championship season race, if there is a accident on the last lap or it is a
caution flag on the last lap,all the cars, especially the ones in the accident
dont go to the pits even though the race is over, the checkered has waved.
therefore when i go to my pit stall and hit escape to exit game to see the
final standings, i dont go there. the game puts me back at the screen where you
choose to qualify, setup, race, etc. sierra techs had me accelerate for over 15
mins but nothing happened. when i hit escape from the accelerated time
screen,my car shows up on a green field looking at the horizon of trees and
sky. looks like i am outside the track area   go figure   anyone have any
suggestions       don

Ah, the problem is that at some tracks there is a limit of AI cars in the
pits.

You will probably have to take off some AI per tracks.
This is done by editing the track.txt   (well "tracks" is the name of the
folder).

Edit the "CARS" line and make the number a little bit lower. You have all
the tracks in the readme.txt file in your Nascar Racing 2 folder.  Good
explanation they made.
