I want to play this game really bad. How come they relase so many
shitty driving games for the PC, but not Gran Tourismo?

I don't know, but a reason could be that it was published exclusively
on PSX, i.e. that Sony holds exclusive rights on it. AFAIK that's the
case with some top-selling titles on PSX.

so buy a playstation. has it ever occurred to you that there are hundreds of
other games that are great for the playstation that have no sign of appearing
on the pc?

I have it on the Playstation and the graphics are shite compared to the PC.
This is so frustrating as the gameplay and sound is really excellent. I have
to put up with the shite playstation controllers instead of a desent
joystick and you can't see the corners properly on such a low resolution, so
you end up smashing into the wall all the time.

P.S. Hundreds of games??? I don't think so. The playstation has a 1000s of
games nearly all of which are really ***games. The exceptions being Gran
Turismo and Point Blank. They don't even come close to most PC games.

You would also get better resolution if you had a TV which had an S-Video
input. The difference between using the composite and the S-Video on GT is
like night and day. Well on my TV anyway.

I already have a wheel and GT wont let me use it.

I also have the Dual shock controllers and these are shite too.

I'm using the $35 Ultraracer controller. ~2" dia wheel, analog trigger
throttle, analog button brake. I like it. But I have heard one report of it
being less than long-term durable. Time may tell.
