Voodoo 2 (miro) problems (cooling??)

After a few seconds playing games using my Miro Hiscore2 3D (Voodoo 2 12 MB)
they crash (strange gfx). When its clocked at 84 Mhz als seems
to be fine but not with the normal factory settings (90 MHz). Is my
card (ram?) defect?
