Has anyone else noticed an inequity in tire wear between your own car
and the ai cars? Especialy on hotter days.
I just finished running Pocono for the NAS series, in prep for event I
had temp set to 80 deg. and used what turned out to be a similar setup
to the ARCA setup used for race at 83 deg.
I noticed that consistently the tires on my car, be they goodyear or
hoosier, started to overheat and go away on the right side by about
lap 15 at the latest, if even drove in such a way as to just try and
stay on lead lap. There was no way to keep up with ai cars on those
tires, yet at end of race ai cars were going just as fast as at start
with no pitting for tires and not much apparent wear.
Is this one of the tweaks for version 1.2 that maybe went too far or
am I imagining it?
Any thoughts?

.
It's all in your setup.
I have numerous setups where I last longer on tires than I can carry fuel .
I can also outlast the AI , which is where I usually win my local race for my league.
I am not always the fastest but I outlast the AI and can usually make it pay off.

My suggestion to you is to work on your setups to achieve maximum tire wear.
If you have to use a standard setup , you are not gonna come close to matching the AI.

Just wanted to let you know that it can be done :)

Hmmm. Well, maybe but I've yet to find a setup that will do it with a
joystick at anything over 70 degrees F. And now I am in an ARCA
division where we use mandatory setups. Oh Well.
