Uses for NASCAR replays?

by Brian M. Kinka » Thu, 01 Feb 1996 04:00:00

I was wondering if it would be possible to use or adapt somehow the
replay files for NASCAR, ICR II, or for that matter any game that has a
replay option to a screen saver format?

Anybody else think this might be a neat idea? Or now how it could be
done? Or anything having to do with this?

Thanks,

BNK,

good idea.  Has anyone done this.  I've changed .pcx's to gifs and jpegs.
But how can you change them to .scr 's ..any help would be appreciated.

That's what I was asking,
I've changed several .pcx files to .bmp for use as backgrounds in
windows using the print screen but I think this would be a good idea but
I have no idea how to go about doing it.

Believe me this is no easy task. I've had to write screensavers in the
past for commercial clients and it ain't no fun!

If you've got Visual Basic, you can find details of how to do it in
the Microsoft Knowledge base at www.microsoft.com.

There are a few shareware screensavers out there that allow you to
create a slide show of pictures but I'm i don't know any URL's.
