Which Video Card for current Papy products?

I am ordering  a new Dell.   I am leaning towards the 32mb NVidia
geForce. I can also choose the latest 3dfx Voodoo card, and for less
money....  What is considered to be the best lately?  I run GPL,  Nascar
Legends, and N3 in Oscar...

Thanks for the help,

MM

I believe, for GPL, Legends, and N3, you would be most happiest with the V3
3dfx cards. The V3000 is an awesome card, the 3500 is great as well if you
like all the bells and whistles.
I can tell you I run those 3 sims on my V3000, and am very pleased. They all
run very well in glide.

Your only choice is the Voo Doo.

The Nvidia "will" run gpl but only with much arm twisting and some
severe frame rate problems if you like mirrors.  You need a beta patch
and must be willing to limit your mirrors or drive from the tailgunner
posistion(shudder!) to get any current Nvidia product to work.
GPL was coded for the 3dfx, with the 1.2 patch you will be very very
happy.  Quake III still looks good (maybe not as good as a Nvidia) but
if GPL and the Papyrus family are your focus...then it is 3dfx V3000 for
a perfect fit.

i have a 500 p3 with a v3 3000 and a monster sound card mx300, 128 ram and
my system runs all max cars and details at max frame rate.  i did notice in
new screenshots for nascar4 there was a graphics page with the opengl
selection on, but that's only a screenshot.  if you want gpl to run you will
need a voodoo card.  nascar 3 and legends will run direct 3d.  remember
nascar4 will run probably 43 cars in it so you'll probably need all video
horsepower for that.
