F1CS - Win2K ?

F1CS - Win2K ?

I've recently upgraded my home CAD workstation to an epox dual M/B, 2x
P31000, 1 gig RAM, 64m geforce 2 gts, raid etc...  It runs on win2k only, as
win9x wont recognise the ram / processors.  I have the latest dx8.0a / video
drivers etc.  Great for work.

Then theres play.

SimRacing. (nothing else matters)

EA's  F1CS wont run (wrong, it did run the very 1st time, just not since) It
loads up to the screen prior to the garage, where it crashes to the desktop.
I've re-installed everything dx, drivers, the game ....... nothing.

Has anyone run F1CS in win2k? (I know the box says nt/2k not supported) Or
is there a patch that can be applied?  Do I have any hope of getting F1CS to
work?

I got pissed at F1CS & went and bought F1RC which runs great.  Cm2 runs
nicely also.

  just re-installed f1cs2k  and can't find a USA nocd patch.  I 'used' to
have the sucker.  Butttttttt me being me...didn't keep a backup.
gamecopyworld.com only shows a file for the GERMAN version.
  Anyone?

It is possible to run under Win2K.  Don't know why it's not working for you,
but it's not a lost cause...

Did you try the BHMS site, Dave?  I think they have a US no-CD patch
there.  If not, drop me an e-mail.
