I'm looking to upgrade to Win2000 in about a week.  My only thing that
I'm at all worried about is that maye my games won't work, particularly
F1CS2K.  I figure that there are plenty around here who might have done
it, so I just want to know if there's any difficulty in accomplishing
it.

If you play a lot of games, you're probably better off upgrading to Windows
ME instead.

Should work fine.

Check some of your other apps/games though if you are worried.

I am running win2k.  I HATE win9x/ME.  yucky.  I'll just not play any
of the games that won't work in win2k pro.

Find all your drivers too that you will need.

First off, not a chance am I going to ME, it offends me.  But really
about the only games I play are racing games, and recent ones at that.
I think the oldest one I may be playing recently is NFS:PU.  Althopugh,
right now all I really want or need is F1CS2K.

F12K and F1CS2K (demo) work on my W2K Pro system as well as GPL, SCGT, and
from the non-driving category: Half-Life, Alpha Centauri, Homeworld.

Keep your machine as a dual boot just in case you have a game
incompatibility... I have one that refuses to run under W2K (but that's
because of something pretty obvious and not the fault of W2K - the game
tries to use its custom version of a Windows DLL which is a no-no in an NT
environment).

Dale.
