NR1999 banshee problem

I have a problem running NR1999 with my banshee Diamond Fusion card.
When the game loads and goes to the main menu, I get a trail with the
mouse cursor. If I can make it to the driving screen, the screen
flickers so bad I can't drive. Any one know of a fix for this? Running
NR2 in 3dfx works fine on the same computer.
Please email if you know how this can be fixed.

Thanks,

Dave

Not sure if this is the fix, but I'd use 3dfx's reference drivers instead of
Diamond's, IF that's what you're using. It did wonders for me.

Do you have a 'force triple buffering for glide apps' option in your
3dfx display properties?  If so, don't make sure it's not checked.
