NR1999 3dfx problem

by Dave Stoch » Sat, 13 Feb 1999 04:00:00

I haven't been here to the ng for a while, so if this question has come
up before, sorry! I just bought the NR1999, and had previously had the
3dfx patch on my nascar2, which ran great! I just reloaded my computer,
and now both games have screwed up graphics in 3d. When you start the
game, if you move the mouse the screen follows the mouse cursor, and the
screen blinks on and off. I have recalibrated the joystick, and the
games work fine in 2d mode. Any one have the same problems in 3d? Please
email me if you have a solution. Thanks!!!

Things to ponder:

A 'jiffy' is an actual unit of time for 1/100th of a second.

If you get to thinking you're a person of some influence,
try ordering somebody else's dog around.

I'll be the first to state the obvious: check your Glide drivers. Should
be 2.43 (?) for Voodoo 1.  Do you get the 3Dfx swirling logo at the start?
