I'm running Nr1999 in dos.  There's a very odd bug, though.  While
painting a car, or choosing a track, or doing anything in a menu mode,
if I move my mouse while my hard drive is turning over, the whole game
freezes up, and I have to reboot my computer.  This happens on average
of once per time I run the game, and is driving me nuts.
Does anybody have any clue what is or might be causing this?  Am I the
only one experiencing it?

Thanks,
Brandon Reed

what you might want to try is to insure that you have the correct mouse
drivers for your system.  You cannot use Microsoft drivers with a Logitech
mouse in DOS, in Windows it works fine because it is reading mouse data off
the hardware port directly, without any drivers needing to be installed.  In
DOS it is different because it is a text based OS.  If you have a microsoft
mouse, you can download the proper files for www.microsoft.com.  If you have
a different manufacturer, check with their website.
