n2 black screen help

Hi, I just bought N2 and am having problems getting it to work. I did
the dos install.  When i run the game, i get the intro to play fine and
I can even see the soundcard setup page fine, but when it comes to
starting the game i just get a blank screen and my monitor shuts off.
Im wondering if this is some type of vesa problem.  Any help you could
give me would be greatly appreciated.

My system:

Pentium 166mmx overdrive\
56mb ram
Soundblaster
Matrox Millenium G200 video card with 8mb sdram
win95

Try this.  When running in DOS (you can even run in windows), don't insert the
CD, just type nascar2.  I had a similar problem with my IBM.
