GPL OGL demo

is there a way to try OpenGL in the GPL demo, there is no way I';m ordering
a game without having a clue to how it will perform, if not can someone get
a version of the full version (dumbed down with one car one track,) what
ever so I can at least try the game before I buy it? The demo won't even run
at a playable speed in software mode on my 450 P2 w\ 128 ram, since the GL
drivers are beta I'm a bit skeptical, and I don't want to buy a game I can't
run and have the store not take refunds.

thanks for youyr help in finding a solutionn for which I can try this
possibly great game.

I have basicaly the same PC as you, Exept I have 96 megs of ram.  My card is
TNT with 16 megs of ram, and I can run the game at 36fps, and most options on,
except the mirrors have to be tone doen a bit.

The OpenGL rasterizer will work with the 1.0.0.0 demo, but not the
original 0.0.0.5 demo.
