I'm using NTFS. Anyone else using XP and NTFS and have GPL running fine?

Ahhh, that might be the problem. I seem to remember reading that GPL has to
be on the boot partition if using NTFS. Thx for the reminder. If that
doesn't fix it then it must be my video card.

NTFS? I just thought of somehting that might be causing it. The refresh rate
is being screwed with by GPL maybe. I'll install multires and see if that
fixes it.
Well, putting it on the C: drive made no difference for me. I'm not using
the XP boxed drivers. Have tried GPL on the beta ATI XP drivers and am now
using optimized Omega drivers. Same problem on both.
I had this exact problem on 2000. I put another hard drive in and installed
on that and it worked fine, whether NTFS or fat32. If I copied this working
install over to my boot drive it stopped working and started crashing
straight to desktop again.
I think this was some sort of NTFS issue. It's probablt all different under
XP anyway.

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you

OK thx, I've got two harddrives, both NTFS, but I'll try it on the second HD
and see.
Yes, if you are using NTFS. Properties, then advanced button. It's off by
default anyway.
