I disagree. I run GPL on a 166mmx overclocked to 225mhz w/64meg ram
and a stealth II (Verite 2000). I get 36 fps with some graphics turned
off, but still more than enough on to look nice and be very
competitive online. My machine is fully tweeked. It is all it can do
to run GPL ,but it does. If you have the cash, do what Cartbrian says.
I probably will go 300a soon. Until then , you'll be fine wiith what
you have with some tweeking and maybe a new Vid card. (Verite 2000
redition, preferably the Hercules 8meg) Good luck. Socket 7 lives!!!
