During today's Cali race, they said the helicopter flying around was an Imax
film helicopter. Anyone know about this? Is there gonna be a Nascar Imax
film? Seems to me that it'd be cool as hell to see this stuff on an
Imax screen.

An Imax camera mounted on the outside front wheel would be cool...a
helicopter shot??

Sure, why not an IMAX of Nascar ? Sure beats an IMAX of golf or chess or

Yes there will be an IMAX film. I was at the race and they had that copter
plus a lear jet flying around.

What became of the film that was to feature the Alex Job ALMS GT Porsche
team?

I remember them filming at Petit Le Mans in '01.

When I was watching qualifing on Friday they talked about it. It will be
out next summer if my memory serves. It will be an Imax 3D film so get your
3D glasses ready!
