I'll second that. I saw it in Portland at Omnimax and the sensation of being in a
CART car at over 200mph is incredible!! Definately a must-see.

Isn't this the movie where one of the Andretti's drove the camera
car?  I seem to remember that they let him really crank the boost
so he could zoom past other cars...

Mario drove a '94 Indycar in the practice and some qualifying sessions for
the '96 season.  If I remember right - there were rule changes in between
'94 and '96, and using the '94 car was intended to help make up for the
added weight of the IMAX camera.  If you've ever seen them, you know IMAX
cameras are HUGE!  You can see it's shadow in some of the film.

Thats correct, Mario Andretti drove the Camera Car.  And not only did he run more
boost, he had an older car with all the Xtra downforce that CART has removed from
current packages.  So he was glued to the track compared to the other guys.  But if
you ever saw any pictures of the HUGE camera mounted on the car, then you'd know
they needed every ounce of boost and downforce they could get.

I concur, see this movie at all costs!  I saw it in Seattle in November,
what a rush!  The brief (3-4 seconds?) in-car shot along the backstretch
of Elkhart Lake was worth the price of admission for me.

Some to Vegas and ride the 3D Indy Challenge at the Sahara.  The Ivan
"Ironman" Stewart ride is enough to make your lunch reappear.
