(OT) Imax Super Speedway on DVD?

There was a thread on this NG awhile back about the IMAX Super
Speedway DVD, everyone said it was brilliant.  Someone had
suggested Speadgear as a source, so I called and ordered it on
DVD.  After much, much time (1 month), I finally get it - and
they sent it on VHS.  Man, was a I dissappointed, but figured it
was an honest mistake.

So I called them up this morning and they don't even know what
DVD is.  Stupid woman was mean and rude, she is doing Speadgear
no good at all.  Stupid.  "They don't have movies on CD's anyay,
I don't know what you're talking about" she says... shees, nice
customer service lady.

Does anyone know where I can find this title on DVD over the web
or by phone?  Thanks mucho.  Watch out for those Speadgear
idiots... they just lost my bunsiness for life - not because they
made a mistake, but because they have RUDE employees.

I order a couple of DVD's a week, and I've had nothing but good
experiences with DVD Empire: www.dvdempire.com

You might also want to try www.reel.com (they tend to be cheaper,
especially with their current 50% sale, but often don't have the
titles in stock for immediate delivery).

I saw it listed at dvd.com, but some guys a work saw it at the Omni
Theater in Boston when it was out and said it was pretty lame. Too much
time showing the car restoration etc.

I've also had good experiences with
http://www.dvdexpress.com

fast, and good prices, no problems in the past.

But www.reel.com's 50% off sale made me order 5 dvd's from them last night,
never ordered from them before but a slight delay in delivery is worth
the 1/2 price to me.

www.amazon.com also having a 50% off sale on their 100 most popular dvd's,
never ordered from them personally.

Lot's of places to order dvds from instead of Speedgear which seems
to be overpriced on most things they sell (if you can find them available
else where) still though I end up spending too much on racing T-Shirts
with them every year at the Portland CART race...

Anyhow hope that helps.

Seeyas on the track.

Their service is pretty good, but you gotta watch the shipping charges.

Unless you use the unreliable USPS shipping, it costs a fortune.  $6.00
_plus_ $1.95 _per_ DVD for UPS Blue (2-day).

DVD Empire is a bit more up-front, IMHO.  Their overall discount is
about 10% less, but they charge very reasonalble (if not downright
cheap) shipping charges.  1-7 DVD's is like $5, with no per-disk
addition for 2-Day Fedex.  In fact, if you buy 8 or more DVD's, the
shipping charge drops to a flat $3.00!

Yeah, and they don't*** you on shipping charges, like a lot of other
places...
