N2 Questions

Hi All,

Just picked up Nascar 2 and I like it much better than Nascar 1.
However, have a couple of questions:

1. Has N2 done away with car sets?
2. I've tried importing custom cars into N2, but keep getting an error
message.  Do the files have to be in a specific directory?

I've looked for these answers in the following FAQ, but didn't find
them:

Any other FAQs or Web site  pointers are appreciated!

Thanks,
Dale

% Hi All,

% Just picked up Nascar 2 and I like it much better than Nascar 1.
% However, have a couple of questions:

% 1. Has N2 done away with car sets?

Yes, it has.  You now have a directory full of *.car files which
includes the driver info.

% 2. I've tried importing custom cars into N2, but keep getting an error
% message.  Do the files have to be in a specific directory?

Yes, they need to be in the main directory where you have NASCAR2
installed.  That is if you are importing *.pcx files.  If you are trying
to install cars in the *.car file format they need to be in the CARS
directory. If they latter, you just move the cars you want for the
season list to the right side of the screen of the Competitor List
screen.

Exactly what are you trying to do and what is the error message you are
getting?
