Hi

    I have a few questions.  1st when i installed N2 under windows I got
no qualifing cars, but when I installed N2 in dos I got all the
qualifing cars, anyone else have this problem. (I did copy the cars from
the dos n2 to the windows n2, no problems)

2nd I was checking out sears point and I noticed that the max. number of
cars was 21 including mine....in N1 i remember about 36, whats up with
that.

and last but not least, what happened too, if you didn't make qualifing
in the championship season you don't race...I thought that was going to
be a great feature.

Yep only DOS installs the Qual setups.  Check out the included readme.
It tells you how to increase the # of opponents to each track's maximum
number.
