% when I run uvconfig.exe I get a message saying my ATI board currently
% has relocateable IO enabled and this release of univbe does not
% support relocatable IO and to allow this program to work I must
% disable it. whatever that means....any ideas what this means? what
% does univbe do anyways?
If you have run the uvconfig, try deleting the univbe.* files in your
NASCAR2 directory. If the program runs, ignore the note about not
seeing the univbe driver. This is just a note saying that the drivers
were not found. Most newer cards already have the needed VESA drivers
in the BIOS. Though you may want to check ATI's web site and see if
they have any newer VESA drivers you can use (uv in the uvconfig stands
for Universal VESA [I think the U is for Universal]).
