meg, and a Diamond Speedstar Pro VLB card (CL5428). ICR2 and UNIVBE have
worked fine for me, although I can still only muster <15 fps with only a
few details on in SVGA. (BTW, UNIVBE didn't seem to add more than +1 fps.)
I added two more 4 meg SIMMs (up to 16 meg) to my PC recently. Since
then, ICR2 would not run in SVGA with UNIVBE installed. I tried it again
at 8 & 12 meg and it worked, but 16 meg, or 4 SIMMs, or *something* is
spooking it. ;) I've found that either disabling the frame rate buffer
or disabling VBE ver 2.0 extensions in UVCONFIG allow it to function
again, although I understand that that also loses you any advantage
UNIVBE would gain you in the first place. :( Ah well, at least I've got
ICR2 running again.
