League in the New Year.
The league will be based upon the RS2League's full automation (with
adjustments for GPL obviously), and you will be able to see what's happening
on the track (qualifying wise), the standings, the results, etc. in
real-time as they are submitted.
I have to admit that I am a bit new to the game as a whole, so it will take
a bit of time to work out the rules and the logistics through testing.
I have ALL of the prize donators of the RS2League eager to contribute, and I
am working on some "very special" prizes to increase the grab-bag. Let's
just say that Hyper Stimulator Canada (http://www.racesimcentral.net/) was
the first to jump on the idea, and I have to thank Rory Brown for the
immediate sponsorship.
I'll keep yas posted on my advancements as they come, and I welcome any of
you who are interested to help me out with some of the inner-workings of the
online play.
I would also like to invite those who work on editors and add-ons to
contribute as well. I have the ability to create "setup assistants" to
automatically update the game as necessary which should decrease the total
steps for the end user and allow a more intuitive implementation into the
game itself.
The logistics of a "world-wide" scoring system are already worked out, and
rest assured that the rest of the logistics will fall into place once I have
had time to test the limitations of the online engine as a whole.
Kepp yas posted as soon as it happens, and will have a URL (already
registered) posted soon.
Cheers,
Shumi
