ICR2 Long Beach Problems

Is anyone else having problems with Long Beach using ICR2 Version 1.02?
Whenever a yellow flag comes out, only a few cars follow the pace car
while the rest continue racing around the track, putting me many laps
down.  This happens both when I enter the pits or stay out.  I eventually
had to turn of the yellow flags to get a race in (I run 60% length).

Also, the AI cars at Long Beach tend to drive BETWEEN the walls seperating
the pits from the front straight when leaving the pits, crashing into the
outside wall at close to race speed the entire way.  Has anyone else
noticed this?

One more question.  When I started my "season" at Loudon, I put car damage
on the "Arcade" setting.  However, once I did this, the AI cars could not
be damaged at all no matter how bad the crash.  I did some testing with
the damage setting on this track, and found that this problem only occurs
when my car damage is on the "Arcade" setting.

Before I applied the 1.02 path, I made sure to reinstall the game.  Is
another install in order here?  Thanks for any help.

Everytime I see the AI cars doing something strange, I check the *.lp
files.
Somehow, somewhere they occasionally get effected.

Could be just an OS thing that happened to cross link on a *.lp file, but
I've had it
happen atleast twice.

Portland in ICR2, and Michigan in Nascar.

I've only reciently installed the patch to 1.0.2 so it was before that.

So, replace the *.lp files first, if that doesn't solve the problem
reinstall/patch.

As for arcade damage, I don't use it, so I don't know.

Oddity:  Once while in NO damage,  I swapped ends and hit my left front
wheel against the wall
at Michigan,  I happened to be driving IN the***pit, and saw the wheel
sticking up like it was Broke.
I left the track and went straight to the Options to see if I had Damage
on, and it said NONE.
