RASCAR Road Atlanta Results

Thanks. That was one of the toughest races I've ever had in RASCAR. The
first 12 laps were a lot of fun. I was first through the first 7 laps, but
then was warped back to 4th. Immediately took third when a driver spun.
Neil, Ginger, and I were just two seconds apart until lap 12 when I lost 4th
gear for some unknown reason.

It took awhile to figure out what gears to use where. Ended up using 5th in
the esses, but I still had to shift down to 2nd for the two right turns
before the back straight. Upshifting through 4th wasn't too bad, but
downshifting was a pain. After I got things sorted, I was able to do some
109's, but by then Neil and Ginger had pulled away and were having a nice
battle apparently. I almost wanted to quit in frustration, but kept pushing
just in case something happened to one or both of them. It worked out in the
end, so I guess it's an example of "never give up". :-o

Exactly right Dave!  I look at it this way, even if Neil and Ginger finished
the race I'd still have a Top 10.  That's a victory for me in TPTCC. ;-)
