    I was just watching a replay of my best performance in a league race
(GPVL-F2 at brands) where I did a 1:40.40.  Every step of the way I was
right on what I thought was the edge, smooth as I could be and with the
graphics and sounds set to be so immerse...  I love watching old league
replays where I do very well and where I am running very hard and very close
to others that if these were on VCR tape the tape would be so warn out it's
pathetic.

    I'd love to be able to log in to someone else's machine and watch a
replay or even while running this one have anyone log on and watch.  I
believe GPLProxy can only be run while in multiplayer mode but does anyone
have an idea of how we could by pass that and watch a replay over the
internet?  (hope I explained my self correctly).

It took me a little while to find any "practical" application of this method,
but I can see that it could improve the commentary and camera-selection
immensely, if the "Director" had seen the race before.

I will admit, that I have no idea of how to do this. I only work with the data
GPL transmits/receives, so what's inside the "black box" is a bit of a mystery
to me. However, I do see one hideous mis-application of the ability to stream
replays as genuine GPL data. What would prevent a guy from modifying the new
code slightly and transmit his own sizzling replay to a league race? Yes, the
timeing could be tricky, but if the replay was set to start at the exact moment
the flag dropped it could be possible. But like I said, I have no idea how to do
this, fortunately. Thus I can share all I know freely. :-)
