Anybody tried the TV out on the Voodoo3 3000/3500 with GPL

I've gotta a spare 35" TV laying around the house, and if I can put at least
1024 x 768 through it, and it looks okay, I'll buy the card.

Any advice???

it works pretty good
it takes a little tweeking though and you really need to use the s-video
input if you have a choice

The NTSC Television only has 485 active scan lines.  The PAL system has 575.  You can
display at most about
768x575 x 25 Hz interlaced on a PAL TV.   Consumer televisions/monitors generally are only
set up to "overscan"
which hides about 5% on each side of the picture, reducing the actual viewable resolution
even further.  A big-screen
TV is not the same thing as a large non-interlaced monitor.

Best Wishes,
Scott
