I just bought the SODA Off Road Racing, and man, I must tell you, it is
awesome!!

Do any companies have any plans to release a drag racing sim?  The closest
thing that I know of is the drag strip on Test Drive 4, and that game bites!

If any of you people have pull with software companies, please---

an NHRA game, soon??  Or maybe a World of Outlaws game??

I've been looking for (and badgering Papyrus) a sprint car simulator for quite a
while.  I recently saw a game published by ABC Sports called The Road to
Indianapolis.  The box graphics show some non-winged sprint car action but I
haven't yet bought the game.  I can't find a review, web page or demo for it.

Check out this site for info on ABC's Indy Racing.
It has Sprint, Midget, and Silver Crown racing as
well as the entire IRL series.

Did they ever release X-car?  I remember trying the demo a long time ago then
hearing nothing about it.  I didn't really like the demo.

Not sure if it was ever released, i based my cruel sarcastic comment on the
demo. But i do recall it having THE worst d/m and controller config i've
ever seen.

Yeah, they released it a couple of months ago.  Nice looking box, price
was *above* average. I think everybody on RAS tried the demo and laid
their money elsewhere.  Too bad...it had a lot going for it: Good
graphics, good frame rate, good menus, and a ton of things to tweak in
the garage.  The only thing wrong with it was the driving model.

Unfortunate that it's the most important thing.
