% Okay, it's out! But wait ... the graphics are just as slow as in the
% demo! What a dog.

% Almost a year ago, I bought an Intergraph Verite card, and received
% ICR2. Now, from the same developer -- a YEAR later -- we have another
% game: SODA Off-Road Racing. Hmmm. This must have been a real low
% budget project. Over the past year, Papyrus has either forgotten or
% misplaced their ability to get a good framerate out of their Rendition
% Ready games.
Actually SODA was coded and developed by a company outside of Papyrus
Design Group (Software Allies?), Papy just "produced" the sim. Still
there is now excuse if this is the case. My question, is this a case
again of Win95 sucking the life out of a racing sim? I'm still waiting
for a racing sim that can produce the graphics along with the framerate
in a pure Win95 environment. Will CART Precision Racing be able to do
this? I'm extremely skeptical, but sure would love to be proven wrong!

% Fifty bucks, eh? Can I still make it look like I didn't
% open the box, so I can get my $$ back? When the demo was all that was
% out, each post said, "great game, except for the framerate." Papyrus
% must not listen too well, as they released the game anyway.
Even if the store you bought it from does not allow returns, Sierra is
releasing this and offers a 30-day money back guarantee -- No questions
asked (well, they do ask that you tell them why so they can make their
products better, but ya don't hafta tell 'em diddley). The only catch
is you will have to pay the shipping to them.
