Does anyone from Papyrus (or anyone else) know if any of the drivers from
the GPL era have ever tried GPL????  This might be an old question, but I've
never seen it discussed.

Have you gone to a CART race and given Dan Gurney a free copy???  Getting to
Jackie Stewart is harder, but not impossible.

I'm just curious if any of these legends wold be 'moved' to see a game that
honors their efforts.  I am guessing that they would get a kick out of
driving through Malmedy one more time.

Off the top of my head I know that Dan and Jackie are still alive.  Sterling
Moss and Phil Hill are from an earlier era, but would probably enjoy GPL.
Dennis Hulme?  Jack Brabham?  Aren't they both among the living??

Jim Clark and Graham Hill are deceased.  What about the others????

Just curious if Randy and the others wanted the original drivers to see
their work.

I asked Gurney about GPL at Fontana last October, he said he had heard of it of
course, but it had just hit the shelves and he had not had the chance to check
it out. He did say his son Alex had some interest in computer sims. Maybe
someone can catch up with Alex at an Atlantic event this year and ask him about
it.

I met Phil Hill at a social function a couple of months back and mentioned GPL,
but he hadn't heard much about it and didn't seem too interested. Unfortunatly
I didn't get a chance to ask Phil's son Derek about it.

Well, Jack Brabham had some sort of role in the development of GPL so
I'm sure he's tried it :) See the credits.

Given that you can walk up to him at a F3 non clashing race and get an
autograph, i fail to see how.

Yeah this is true. The question I have to ask though is what has getting
autographs got to do with sims <G>

Black pots and kettles maybe?

What's the closest non-clashing F3 race to Papyrus's office in
Massachusetts???  Maybe you should substitute 'more expensive' for 'harder'.
