>but if this is jsut a taste of what the final version will be of CPR
>(Remember NASCAR2 demo vs. NASCAR2 final product?!?),

Well well well. Given all the criticism, what are your
thoughts now?

If you couldn't feel this in GP2, then maybe you needed more
time to play it...

No way. I sold my N64 when I got my Canopus Pure3D. Not even
close. Compate NHL98 on a TV to any soccer, hockey, etc on the N64. Or
pick one that is on both platforms- SOTE from Lucasarts. N64 is ***
compared to PC., S-VHS connector or not. Quote numbers, it doesn't
matter. The N64 is a brilliant bit of engineering- but it's not as
brilliant as a PC.

We can only hope that someday, somebody somewhere at Microsoft
unwedges and drives a (lame-ass buzzword) CROSS-FUNCTIONAL team to
teach these idiots about optimizing code. You think they're 'getting
more speed'?? Pah. Just optimizing the same engines over and over and
over....

See above. You sell the game game four times in four years,
you get minor improvements.

No, Bill Gates hates you getting older systems to run fast- he
gets less back from Intel that way.
