my nascar 1 is turning to left when i steer to the right and vice
versa.when i try to calibrate wheel in "joystick 1" the red arrow is
erratically jumping back and forth without me even touching the wheel ,like
its getting a false signal or something. when i do attempt to calibrate ,i
get different measurements when i steer to the right(anywhere from 835 to
1500) but the left is always around the same(8 to 12).after such
calibrations the steering is never right. this problem just started after a
year of using wheel. does anyone have a thrustmaster acm speed adjustable
game card? what are the advantages of using it?  is it worth buying? has
anyone ever changed a "pot" in the t2 wheel? is it a pain in the *ss or
what?  please help   thanks   don

  I had a very similar thing with a joystick -- the Y-axis was goofy. I
took it apart and found that the variable resister is open, so I wiped it
with a bit of ***, then lubed it with a touch of white lithium grease.
Cleaned both while I was at it. I also slipped a strip of paper under the
sliding contact to clean that. No more trouble.

  I don't know about the wrong-way steering -- I'd try cleaning first.
