converter but I don't have N3.
What size are those Tally files? And can I download them somewhere? I guess
they are multimegabyte files, if so please don't mail them.

Why not simply *buy* N3? You get the track you want plus several others (who
knows maybe there will be other tracks converted): you get a decent game in
itself and you'll be supporting the good folks at Papyrus that made it all
possible. Do the right thing :)

Buy NASCAR3! Since you have to point the converter to the N3
directory, I'd assume that you have to have the full version on N3
installed. So, It would be worth it to buy it.

Taladega must be converted from nascar3. So you're going to have to bite the
bullet and buy Nascar 3 like we did.

That's the only reason that I *bought* N3 and NL. To use the tracks in GPL.
Well, I probably would have gotten them anyway, but I was going to wait until
the price came down to reasonable levels. It's all Dave Noonan's fault...!
(BTW, good job Dave!<g>)

It is illegal to distribute those files. Besides which Tally online so far is a
crashfest. If you have N2 then you have Michigan and Texas and Darlington.

I don't want to play it. If I could pay, say 10 bucks for a GPL
version of Tally I would, but it's not worth $50 to me.

I can't see the big deal about racing at Talladega. It was boring as
hell in Nas2 & Nas3. And the few races I had the last few days at WinVROC,
it's still boring. 1st pile up the spreads out the field, and you end up
running by yourself. And there is always a major pile up. But Michigan and
C***te have produced great races.

Joe,

This is a decision you have to make. As for me, I shelled out the $50
for Nas3. But if you're dieing to run Tally, forget it. Every race is a
demolition derby. And once you loose the draft,it's a BORING solo run. Tally
is nothing more than flat our running. It's the easiest track to run.
That's why you see more Tally races online with Nascar3 than any other
track. More than once I've disco'd because I was bored to death.

But run Michigan,C***te, or Texas, and get some of the best oval
racing I've ever had.

- It will be a program to convert all ICR2 tracks , ( not the oval ) ?
- Free? Sharware ?
- It will be buyable in France ? from Internet ?

Actually, the only online races I did were with a limited field. I haven't run
Talladega yet. Actually, I haven't done MUCH online racing recently. My ISP
stinks...

Ok I'm willing to buy N3 but I can't find it in those damn Belgian stores!
and I don't have Visa or Mastercard either so I can't buy online :-(. (It's
getting time I'll finally do something about that)
And about tally, your probably right, I can imagine Michigan is way more
fun.
