Good clean racing for the most part. I think some got stuck behind the pace
car when they should have passed it. Congrats Mitch. I didn't know if you
were going to make it back up to the front but I knew that if I didn't take
on 4 new tires, I was toast. Did you pit twice on that last yellow? See all
at the Glen.

Good race.  I should have stopped on the next to last caution and got tires.
Lost 3 spots in the last 10 laps. Apologies to #49, everyone got kinda
bunched up on a restart and I got into the side of you, sorry about that.

I tried to get RW to work using the address that was in the chat mode but it
never found the host.

Yeah I had to stop twice.  Dang pit crew was on ludes all dam day :))  First
stop I was too far left and could only get rights.  As we went back to racin
she was all over the place and buckin hard.  I lost it comin outta 2 but
everyone was on the ball and missed me and I came away with only a flat lf
tar.  I limped around and was told I got a bf for debris :)  Right after
that somewhere around T3-4 was the big one of the day.  Had I not screwed
the pooch earlier in that same lap I woulda been right in the middle of it,
whewww.  2nd stop I went about a foot to far and I backed up and waited, and
waited then I figured I was still to far forward so popped it in reverse
just in time to see my guys go running back onto the wall.  I had to come
around again but really only lost a couple spots.  Somewhere in there
BamaDano and I got together.  I think it was warp as I didnt actually feel
anything but sry anyway.

Just want to say thanks to Brian Oster.  We had some good racin this week.
Also sorry for the bump in T2.  I knew Id have to keep it wound way tight or
you woulda had me on the exit.  With so few laps to go I just had to push
it.  Sorry bud!  I hate to win under a contact situation for sure, but Ill
take it :))

When noone jumped in before the race started I closed it.  I do not know
what kind of performance hit I will take with it running.  Didn't matter
anyway since I never even completed one lap.

Huggins and I were in a room called rascar.  I couldnt hear him over the
engine though.  I little in-game sound tweaking and it woulda been great.

I was thinkin, this sim needs real spoters and/or crew chief who can change
your set-ups for you, watch your line, and talk pit stuff. My brother would
love to log on and spot for me using RW. If he only had a special 'crew
chief' screen complete with a camera and a list of stuff to do to my car
when I come in to pit. He would get to call all the pit shots and all I got
to do is drive and tell him what the car is doing.

papy you listening?

It was a fun race.  The last 5 laps of the race are when you are
supposed to race hard and get aggressive and things like that will
happen fom time to time... just one of those deals.

BTW, everyone really needs to learn the NASCAR rules (not RASCAR,
NASCAR).  I put half the field down a lap because someone didn't go
around the pace car on the next to last caution.  I don't have the
energy to try and explain it now, but if you look at the replay you
will see what happened.  Also, along the same lines.  When a caution
comes out you need to hurry up to the end of the pacing line and get
as close to the car in front of you as you safely can.  The racing
doesn't stop when a yellow comes out, its still going on in the pits.
If you don't intend to pit and lag behind the car in front of you, you
have prevented the guy behind you from having any kind of chance of
gaining a spot on pit road.  A 2 tire strategy can go right out the
window if the guy in front of you is 5 seconds behind the field.  I am
not saying that happened today, but I have seen it before and it is
kinda one of my pet peeves.

Yeah, my spotter told me "pass the 11 car(Oliver).  When I tried to move up, he
said "stay behind the 42 car(bluestringer)".  I haven't watched the replay yet,
but the 42 or somebody right in front of him should have gone around the pace
car... :-(

Something was up tho'. My latency was unusually high at 390ms+. When it
dropped down to "normal" level (320-330ms) my game crashed a first time.

It crashed a 2nd time as I was trying to avoid a pile-up down s/f. When I
got back on the server and went to track I got a eoll penalty for entering a
closed pit... ok, there's a 2nd thing to check when one reconnects. 1: wait
for entry list to fill up, 2: check pitlane 2 camera for pitlane status.
<sigh>

Apart from losing the laps, the race went really well for me. Really had
confidence in the car and was able to run my pace.
