It is a possibility. Think for a moment, go back the 3 years to when GPL
was released....can you remember ANY system that could run GPL with full
detail and full fields...
But now seeing your single player vs vroc framerates, that does sound a
bit odd. Remove the ai from your testing and you shouldn't be burdening the
cpu. I would suggest testing to see how far you have to move the details
slider, I think that item has the greatest effect on GPL framerate.
As a last resort...are you using the opengl 3d graphics or the D3D? I
would suggest, based on other users input here, that the D3D 'should'
outperform opengl on your system. Give both a try and see if that makes a
difference
