Incredible.  How do the shoe sizes work out to in American sizes anyway,
BTW?  I wear 13 wide, but I think that'd be a problem.

You *lucky* dog...

In another post I mentioned, that the price about 15.000 Danish Kr.

Maybe on a bike it is a little hard to reach the speed on the short circut,
because you need a lot more brake-distance than a F1 car.

Yes, it is a really good track, and I was surpriced to see how well it is
being kept.

Well, I was there Tuesday and got the game Thursday, so I'm pretty sure I'm
right at this one, as I can remember for 2 days.

I'm not sure, as I don't know US-shoe numbers, it was hard enough for me to
find UK numbers, as I live in Denmark. We have total different numbers here.
In danish mesurement I use size 43 :o)

Ups. Sorry, the post was not finished when I send it. Here is the continued
part :o)

There is a single place, that do not look right. When you are going out of
the 180 and onto the straight, the hill to your right is not the right size
I think. And how well the track is on the northern part I can't say, as I
was not up this end. I know in the game, that there are a lot of trees
there, but in real ? I don't know. Maybe Gunnar can fill this out? I assume,
that when you raced bikes, you used the long circuit. About 15 years ago I
was at Anderstorp with a friend from my work. He drove the Yahama RD 350 cup
at Anderstorp and Mantorp, and they (as I recall it) used the long circuit.
I did not drive myself at this time, so I'm not sure if this server was at
the start of the straight at this time.

The banked angel in these turns is a little hard to see on TV. Do you,
Gunnar, know if tracks has this angel at most? Silverstone, Monza aso.

That banked turns made it really funny to drive there, as even my silly
Toyota acted as it had more grip than usual :o)

and that's why I included the second sentence. :)

oh, that.  that's not very important, is it?

yep.  whether the trees are done right, I can't really say, and I
don't really care.  I didn't feel that any part of the track itself
was out of place, though.

"server"?

I'm sorry, but I don't think I understand what you're asking.

it's even more fun on a bike, as you can use the banking as a downhill
onto the straight to get a higher exit speed.

that, and a 600 only has about 1/7th of the power. :)

indeed.  now they only need those sound-blocker-things in the north
end.

I don't know about a bike, but in the F1, the brakepoint for us
"non-racedrivers" was about 130 meter before the turn, because the track was
moisty, otherwice the point is 100-110  meters and we were told, that a new
F1 with the tires they use nowadays the brakepoint would be about 50-60
meters!! If I had to do this, I would have to have clean underwear with me
on the track :o)

YES!! That would be awesome. I would really REALLY like to try the full
lenth circuit. --

hehehe...  on a stock-ish 600 you'd get a bit over 250 km/h, using the
full straigth, before braking at 150-120 meters, depending on how good
you are. :)

AFAIK they've been planning it for years.  I've heard some talk about
them trying to get a World Superbike round in a year or two, so maybe
it'll finally happen.

No, not at all, but I did not catch what you ment by:

fresh.

and this is the only thing, that I can say don't look right. Except for the
camber-angel on the turn just before the start/finish.(the merry-goround
turn)

As mentioned I also feel the track itself is very close to the real thing
except this camber.

That's my bad English, I'm sorry. It is a cover over a water-drain or sewer
(manhole cover ??), and it is a little lower than the track. It was marked
with an orange plastic cone, so we would not hit it.

What I mean is, is the turn on other racetrack also banked like these on
Anderstorp? I have never been at Silverstone, Monza, Spa aso, and I think it
is difficult to see on TV if a turn is banked or not.
Have you raced on other F1-tracks than Anderstorp?

Ok, now I have tried a Formula One car. Not a new one, but allthough it is
outdated in the top-sport, it is still far more powerfull than any other car
I have driven. (Look at http://home1.stofanet.dk/chanelle/pic/data.jpg to
see data on the cars) I did not have the latest Bridgestone tires, but they
did all right anyway :o) What can I buy next to be even wilder?
Well, I might try to do a boxing meeting with Mike Tyson next, just to feel
the power from a fighter too. Will he hit me harder than the F1??? :o)
