force feedback vs framerate

by HoeHandl » Sat, 16 Mar 2002 19:23:02

    Hello all,
I just purchased a force feedback wheel and have noticed my frame rate
in N2002 going way down. With my old wheel my frame rate rarely dropped
below 30 and last night it was down in the low ***s which as you all know
makes it very hard to drive. I use the END IT ALL program before I start so
resources are not a problem. My system is a P4 1.6, 256 ram, 64 meg video
card, sound blaster live value and I run W 98. Thanks in advance.

The frame rate hit varies a lot depending on the model of the wheel. See

for some discussions by people with a variety of wheels.
